Dinner in El Calafate. That’s a ton of meat!

Yesterday, our final three group members arrived in the morning with Mel and together we trekked through the snow out to the Perito Moreno Glacier where we spent the day learning about glaciers and their role in the Patagonian environment. The Moreno Glacier has over six times the surface area of Manhattan!

Today we’re hopping on a quick flight to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world and our base camp for the next week. Tomorrow we hit the slopes!
Hasta pronto,
Mel, Steve and the Skiing in Patagonia Crew!
